CodeRabbit compatibility
NOME Build Cloud reads CodeRabbit as an external review signal. You do not need CodeRabbit to use NOME Build Cloud.
Supported as an external review signal
NOME supports CodeRabbit as an external review signal.
CodeRabbit is a strong AI reviewer. If your team already uses it, NOME Build Cloud reads its output and folds it into the deploy gate rather than asking you to drop it. NOME Review goes beyond review — build, test, review, verify, sign, deploy, rollback — but it does not replace a reviewer you already trust.
Supported
Detect CodeRabbit reviews — NOME detects when CodeRabbit has reviewed a pull or merge request.
Summarize comments — NOME summarizes CodeRabbit's comments alongside its own findings.
Require CodeRabbit approval before deploy — you can require a CodeRabbit approval as a condition in the deploy gate.
Compare NOME Review vs CodeRabbit findings — NOME shows where the two reviewers agree and where they differ.
Include CodeRabbit output in NOME PR risk score — CodeRabbit's signal feeds the NOME pull-request risk score that the gate reads.
Not required
You do not need CodeRabbit to use NOME Build Cloud.
CodeRabbit is one optional signal. NOME Review runs on its own through NOME's canonical reasoning path, and the deploy gate works whether or not CodeRabbit is connected.
How to connect it
Install CodeRabbit on your repository the way you already would — it posts its own review discussions. Connect the same repository to NOME Build Cloud, and NOME reads CodeRabbit's review status through the connector you already authorized. No new secret store: the existing connector token path is reused. If CodeRabbit is not connected, NOME simply does not read that signal and the rest of the pipeline is unchanged.
